Community Performance Inc. is an organization specializing in the creation of theatrical productions from stories of people and their places, using these productions to promote understanding and partnerships within their region. CPI's expertise in community building through the arts has been utilized in cities across the United States, including the internationally renowned Swamp Gravy, the Official Folk Life play of Georgia. CPI's work, which American Theater calls a "gem of cultural Democracy" has also seeded projects in Brazil and England and has been showcased in Chile and Scotland.
